TuuliAlfa is part of the Alfa Companies
The Alfa Companies consist of TuuliAlfa (wind), VetyAlfa (hydrogen), and SolarAlfa (solar).
Alfa Companies are Finnish renewable-energy developers building an integrated clean-energy value chain from wind and solar generation to green hydrogen and e-fuels. Alfa Companies’ projects enable industrial-scale decarbonisation and position Finland as a key hub in the emerging European hydrogen economy.
- TuuliAlfa and SolarAlfa develop renewable energy projects, electricity grids, and grid flexibility technologies.
- VetyAlfa develops hydrogen refining projects, enabling large-scale hydrogen production and downstream processing.
Alfa-Yhtiöt vauhdittavat vihreää siirtymää kehittämällä kestäviä, alueellista elinvoimaa tukevia hankkeita, jotka lisäävät energiaomavaraisuutta, vähentävät päästöjä ja luovat Suomelle uusia vienti– ja investointimahdollisuuksia.
Strong expertise in the entire lifecycle of project development
TuuliAlfa is a trusted renewable energy project developer with extensive expertise and experience across the entire lifecycle of development: project planning, permitting and assessment processes – environmental impact assessments, zoning, public consultations, and cooperation with authorities.
All development work is carried out in collaboration with landowners, municipalities, and local communities, with the goal of creating long-term value for all stakeholders.
Wind Power in Finland
Finland offers excellent conditions for wind power production: vast sparsely populated areas, stable weather, a developed electricity grid, and an efficient permitting system.
Wind power is already the most cost-effective form of electricity generation in Finland, and its importance continues to grow.
In 2024, wind power accounted for approximately 15% of Finland’s electricity consumption, and it is expected to rise above 50% by 2050 – driven in part by green hydrogen production and other consumption and processing sectors that benefit from renewable, affordable energy.
